Need to Know: Government told in an RTI- "We don't collect 'DATA' of number of jobs offered by government".
According to an RTI filed last month, the Ministry of Labour & Employment and Directorate General of Employment have mentioned that the central government does not collect/ maintain/ avail pieces of information related to the number of employment offered by the central government within the Directorate General of Employment.
When the first appeal was filed against the provided information, the Appellate Authority by Section 19(6) of RTI Act, 2005 confirmed the statement given by the Ministry of Labour & Employment and Directorate General of Employment.
Why is it like this?
This might happen because the government will not wish to demoralize its voters on behalf of such a severe issue. The better thing is to provide no data so that to maintain illustration within the public that better things are about to come.
Today's need is to provoke the administration to actually work and not to show-off!!
