7 Died & 20 injured in Assam bus accident
As per reports, At least 7 people were dead & more than 20 suffered injuries. On 20th October 2018 Saturday, When a speedy bus slew & fell down into a pond in Nalbari District in Assam. At 3.30 pm, the bus driver of Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) lost control of the Vehicle, which is overturned & rolled down the road to fall into a pond.
The incident occurred between Mukalmua and Guwahati. Local people helped authorities in the rescue operation. Approximately 21 people who are suffered serious injuries have been admitted to nearby hospitals and seven bodies have been recovered from accident site including those three women.
According to report, Police told probably there are chances that some could still be trapped inside the bus. There were nearly 50 passengers in the bus when the the accident happened.
