SC notice to Ramdev against HC order restraining publication, sale of 'Godman To Tycoon'

New Delhi [India], Nov 30 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to yoga guru Ramdev on a plea challenging the Delhi High Court order which had restrained the sale and publication of a book, 'Godman To Tycoon', purportedly containing defamatory content on his life.
The top court has posted the matter for hearing in January 2019.
Last month, the high court had stayed the publication of the book on Ramdev after the yoga guru claimed that it had content which was defamatory.
Authored by journalist Priyanka Pathak Narain, the book documents the life of the yoga guru-turned entrepreneur.
