Corruption case CBI : DSP arrested

DSP Devender  Kumar who was accused to be a part of bribery with Rakesh Asthana the special director was arrested on 22nd October morning by the Crime Branch of India.
Reportedly, the Prime Minister Office asked both CBI chief Ranjit Sinha as well as special director Rakesh Asthana was ordered to be present in the court.
On 21st October 2018, FIR was filed against all the four suspects by the investigating agency. Rakesh Asthana and Devender Kumar are two of the four suspects.
A regular case has been registered by the CBI against Asthana and Devender Kumar of CBI'S SIT and other to prevent the growing corruption in their field as well as India.
Superintendent of Police SS Gurm said that the CBI has filed a case against Rakesh Asthana, DSP Devender Kumar and Manoj, and Somesh Prasad.
The regular case was filled on 15th October on the basis of Satish Sana's complaint. Satish Sana faced investigation in a case of 2017 where THE OFFICER HELPED Moni Qureshi a meat exporter to clear his name from the allegations.
When Prasad returned home from Dubai on 16th October the CBI arrested him by accusing him as the middleman of the crime.
The Special Investigating Team is headed by Asthana who has been handling big cases like loan fraud case of Vijay Mallya as well as AgustaWestland chopper scam. The SIT is now investigating the Moin Qureshi case.
