Clashes inside CBI: The Fuckin' Truth
On 15 October, CBI filed a case- FIR RC 13(A) of 2018 against CBI Special Director Rakesh Asthana on the allegement of received bribe from an accused probed by him in 2017 case allegedly involving meat exporter Moin Qureshi & alleging the officer had allegedly helped him to get a clean chit.
Sana Satish Babu touched a deal of Rs. 5 crores with an alleged middleman Manoj Prasad.
On 16 October, Manoj Prasad believed to be a Middleman. CBI has also nabbed him when he returned from Dubai. Withal, the agency retained silence on the issue.
Sana Satish Babu, the Hyderabad-based businessman suspected for alleging officer & his brother Somesh had acquired money to helped him to get a clean chit in a case registered by against former Chief AP Singh & controversial meat exporter Moin Qureshi.
From last one year, Rakesh Asthana & CBI Chief Alok Verma have been feuding with each other. Verma accused by Rakesh Asthana for interfering in investigations handled under his supervision & made a formal complaint to Cabinet Minister.
On 24 August, Asthana's has written a letter to the Central Vigilance Commission & given the list of 10 exemplify of alleged corruption by Alok Verma in which Sana Satish Babu paid 2 crores to CBI Chief to arrange clean chit & informing that he wanted to arrest & interrogate Sana. In his complaint, Asthana accused Alok Verma Of trying to help Sana Satish Babu.
According to sources, CBI is said to have submitted telephone intercepts, Whatsay Messages, Money trail, and a statement. Asthana trying to restrain officials by sending futile complaints to Central Vigilance Commission against Verma & traduce Alok Verma's reputation, said CBI.
Rakesh Asthana responded & again wrote a letter to the government against Alok Verma & mentioned that Director had sought to obstruct his operation, step in his investigation & traduce his reputation.
