Former CM ND Tiwari takes his last breath

Narayan Dutt Tiwari the former chief minister of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh took his last breathe on 18th October 2018 in a private hospital of Delhi. The honorable CM ironically died on his 93 rd birthday this Thursday. This awful incident was really shocking for his wife Ujjawala as well as son Rohit Shekhar.

Narayan Dutt Tiwari is also known as "Vikash Purush" was hospitalized on September 20, 2017, because of a serious brain-stroke and was immediately taken to a hospital in Saket. After which he was kept in ICU till 12th of October and then shifted to a private room. He was already suffering several organs failures since July this year.

ND Tiwari was born on 18th October 1925 in Baluti, Nainital. He was married to Sushila Sanwal in 1954 and then he married his longtime girlfriend Ujjwala Tiwari on 2014 at the age of 88 and had a son from her Rohit Shekhar. He was elected three times as the CM of Uttar Pradesh and was elected once as a CM
of Uttarakhand. He was the only person who completed his 5-year tenure as the CM originally belonging from the Himalayan state.

He was also involved in two big controversies i.e. sex scandal in this own office in Raj Bhavan and the paternity suit claimed by his biological son Rohit Shekhar Tiwari on 2012. He was elected as the CM of UP on January 1976, August 1984 and June 1988 respectively. He was also a name for Prime Minister which was later given to PV Narasimha Rao. Once upon a time he also had opened his own party 'All India Indira Congress' in 1995 but he rejoined Congress when Sonia Gandhi became the party head. Before being accused of involving in a sex scandal he was elected as the governor of Andra Pradesh in
August 19, 2007, and worked till December 26, 2009.

The team of doctors which was taking care of the politician said, "Mr. Tiwari was hospitalized in Max Super Specialty Hospital in Saket, Delhi and went into sleep forever at 2.50 pm." After the demise of the veteran politician, the Prime Minister tweeted that, "Saddened by the passing away of Shri ND Tiwari Ji.
A towering leader, he was known for his administrative skills. He will be remembered for his efforts towards industrial growth and working for the progress of UP and Uttarakhand, a state he steered in its initial days." Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also tweeted, "He played a key role in giving pace to the financial and industrial development of the newly formed Uttarakhand, and helped the state to stand up on its feet."
