Supreme Court rebuffs the #MeToo FIRs

Supreme Court on 22nd of this month declined the urgent hearing of the Public Interest Litigation which demands to register the #MeToo FIRs. All the FIRs are against the famous celebrities, politicians as well as cricketers who have ever harassed the women sexually.
Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi along with Justice S.K. Kaul said on Monday that the hearing will be conducted in the regular course and no urgent hearing is possible.
The petition filed by the PIL also request the NCW National Commission for Women of India to give full protection to each woman who will come in public and talk about the sexual harassments they went through in the past.
MeToo phase was started by Tarana Burke an American social activist in 2006 to promote empowerment through empathy. The outgrowth of the international campaign in India started with Tanushree Dutta in October 2018. The well-known actress accused veteran actor Nana Patekar for sexually harassing her on the sets. After this many names crossed the paths of the Government like former union minister MJ Akbar, BCCI CEO Rahul Johri , Creative Head Y-Films Ashish Patil, Talent manager Anirban Blah, Content studio head  reliance Ajit Thakur,   Actor Alok Nath, Actress Kangana Ranaut, Piyush Mishra actor, Director Sajid Khan, Subhash Ghai, Vikash Bahl, Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya , Anu Malik, Kailash Kher, Journalist C Gouridasan Nair, Gautam Adhikari, KR Sreenivas , Vinod Dua, Writer Chetan Bhagat, Sachin Garg, Comedian Aditi Mittal, Utsav Chakraborty and many more. Now how far every accusation is real or not is on to the Supreme Court!!
