October 29 will mark the hearing of Ayodhya Title
The old rankling dispute of ownership of 79.8 km square Ayodhya will be heard in Supreme Court on 29th October Monday. . The city of Ayodhya is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram and is located in Uttar Pradesh and is a very old dispute between the Hindu and Muslim parties.
The Allahabad High Court gave a verdict of equally diving the land between Ram Lalla, Sunni Wakf Board as well as Nirmohi Akhara on 2010. This verdict is challenged in Supreme Court before the bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi with Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul as well as KM Joseph this Monday.
On 27th of September this year, the bench of CJI Dipak Misra, as well as Justice Ashok Bhusan, removed every hurdle in the path of this seven-year-old conflict.
The judgment had said that there will be no case for the 1994 SC judgment of ' mosque is not mandatory to offer namaz'. It is all clear that the observations of Faruqui's case were made with keeping the view of land acquisition. And none of them was applicable to the title of the place or taking the decision on any of these appeals. Thus the hearing will be started on the coming week from 29th October. After the retirement of CJI Dipak Mishra on October 2nd, 2018, CJI Gogoi Jed will decide the justice for the bench on 29th October. Justice Bhusan along with Nazeer will stick to their places on the new bench and conduct the hearing for the dispute.
