Positive Development in CBI by SC- Arun Jaitley

On 26th October Mr. Arun Jaitley the finance minister of India quoted the Supreme Court order as "extremely positive development" for the CBI because it was mandatory for the nation to know the truth.
On this Friday, the Supreme Court directed the Central Vigilance Commission to complete the interrogation as well as come up with the truth of allegations within the coming two weeks. It also asked the interim director M Nageswara Rao to not take any major decision while these two weeks.
Jaitley also said that the bad reputation of CBI resulted in less development inside the agency.
Supreme Court's order of accomplishing the interrogation within the next two weeks had strengthened the transparency of CBI in the public, he added.
Arun Jaitley said that the Supreme Court's decision of overseeing the investigation within two weeks by a retired judge is a very great decision. And the government is keen to protect the integrity as well as the image of CBI.
He also said that the CVC scrutiny the CBI case is highly transparent which is mandatory for the nation to know the truth.
